AttentionMax: Half of My MyBlogLog Readers Are Women

  • cbwhittemore · 2 years ago
Max, interesting question. No wonder you are on Peter Kim's Top Marketers Blog List! I was turned onto MyBlogLog by Mike Sansone/converstations, definitely for the stats, with the community aspect or the passively active aspect being a fun side benefit.

As it relates to women, your blog just appeals to intelligent women. Congratulations!

Thanks, CB. If you insist I'm a ladies man, I won't argue with you!

Also, Priscilla Palmer noted on my MyBlogLog member page: "Why are more than half of your readers women?- I would saw the answer is "The Law Of Attraction". You think more about women than you do about men."

I can't speak for anyone else but I come because I like what I'm reading. Keep it up!

Well first of all, belated Happy Birthday!

But Max, if half of your blog readers are women, I assume that the other half are men. Couldn't you have written the same post and said "Half of My BlogLog Readers Are Men?" :)

    Hi Marianne,
You make a very good point. I'll admit that I'm biased by personal experience, working at the crossroads of market information and Web interactive. From my measurement experience, it is almost universal that early-adopter technologies and Web services are heralded by higher concentrations of males, and I therefore assumed (anecdotally) the same for MyBlogLog community. Moreover, I never really thought of myself as a ladies man, at least in the context of my blog which focuses on media and marketing! Which led to my headline. Thanks for your observation!
